Dear Bully, 

 Why, now take as much time as you need, do you bully? How is it that I have had any affect on your life? Do you laugh when I cry? Do you feel better when you have pushed me down? Do you experience a sweet sigh of relief? I don’t understand.

 I have an absurd guess though, bear with me here, ready? You are currently or have been bullied. Someone has stepped on you and made you feel horrible. Whether it’s your parents, your friends, peers. Why me? You feel you could never love yourself the way that I, a fat woman at that, can? Are you angry with me because of this? 

Here’s what I propose. Start loving yourself. Stop being mean. Even when you think someone deserves it… they don’t. You don’t like it, so what makes you think someone else will? All this causes in the end is a cycle of hate. Someone is awful to you, you are awful to someone, that someone is awful to someone else. These things can end horribly.

Bully, what if I were not a stronger person? What if I didn’t know better, and believed that I was a worthless, fat, disgusting piece of shit, as you so politely pointed out? What if I believe you and I hurt myself or others? Would you feel better about yourself then? Would you feel content knowing you had pushed me that far?
